Salt duty reduced from Rs 2.5 to Rs 2 per maund
General salt duty reduced from Rs 2.5 to Rs 2 per maund on 18 March 1903 and further to Rs 1.5 on 22 March 1905. Rate in Burma Rs 1 per maund.
