Allahabad Union Bank: Paid-up capital Rs 65,000
~Rs 50,000 of self-dealing overdrafts
The manager, Kedarnath Mitra, gave an unsecured overdraft of Rs 18,000 to himself, Rs 10,000 to his brother, Rs 21,000 to his relatives and Rs 2,000 to his wife. He was also manager of the Annapurna Co., which dealt in grain "which was untraceable".
